The popular video conferencing platform Microsoft Teams now allows up to 300 people to join at once and participate in video conferencing.
But given the growing rate of video conferencing in the world due to the epidemic, Microsoft is preparing to increase the number of participants on its video conferencing platform. According to which, in the near future, Microsoft Teams will be able to have video conferencing with 1000 participants at a time.
The company has disclosed this under its 000 plan. In which the company has said, "Now hold an interactive meeting with up to 1000 participants."
However, the date for the increase in the number of participants in Microsoft Teams has not been decided yet. The feature, which has been in production since last July, is expected to launch in December.
Last August, Microsoft announced a new high-level communications plan that would allow paid users of Microsoft 365 and Office 365 to join up to 20,000 participating Microsoft teams in live events.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced last week that Microsoft Teams had 115 million daily users. According to him, Microsoft teams currently have 30 billion minutes of interaction daily.
